Job Overview

The Intermediate Data Analyst plays a key role in transforming lending, customer, and operational data into insights that drive smarter decisions, improve credit risk, support compliance, and deliver stronger customer outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across credit, collections, finance, operations, and product to ensure data becomes a powerful business enabler.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse customer, loan lifecycle, and portfolio data to uncover trends and patterns
• Support policy and pricing decisions with evidence-based insights
• Build and maintain dashboards for operational, management, and audit reporting
• Reconcile and validate data across systems to ensure quality and accuracy
• Document metrics and data logic to promote consistency across the business
• Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc reporting and campaign analysis
• Translate data into business-friendly stories and mentor junior analysts where needed

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience using BI tools
• Understanding of relational databases and pipelines

Advantageous

• Working knowledge of Python or R (advantageous)
