Job Overview
As the SMS Campaign Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the data preparation, segmentation, and operational execution of high-volume SMS campaigns across multiple business verticals. This is a hands-on, analytics-driven role focused on turning large datasets into clean, accurate campaign files that support consistent lead delivery and strong performance outcomes.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are executed correctly, performance is monitored daily, and reporting delivers clear insights to improve lead quality, CPL, and overall channel efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities
Campaign Data Preperation and Execution
- Prepare and process daily SMS campaign files across all core verticals (Credit, Debt, Insurance, Phones, Financial Services)
- Extract, clean, format, and validate campaign datasets prior to deployment
- Ensure accurate campaign setup, testing, scheduling, and execution within the SMS platform
- Monitor delivery in real time and implement immediate adjustments when required
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues, segmentation errors, or data-related failures
- Collaborate with internal teams to align campaign execution to lead targets, budgets, and delivery requirements
Data Segmentation, Hygiene & Optimisation
- Work with large datasets using advanced Excel, SQL, EasyMorph, CRM exports, and internal data tools
- Build and refine segmentation logic to ensure high lead relevance and improved conversion outcomes
- Maintain strict data hygiene, compliance standards, and accurate record handling
- Implement rotation and suppression strategies to reduce data fatigue and ensure sustainable channel performance
- Identify performance patterns and continuously optimise datasets to improve response rates and CPL efficiency
- Support longer-term enrichment strategies to strengthen dataset quality and lead delivery accuracy
Performance Reporting & Analytical Insights
- Track and analyse key channel metrics such as CPL, response rates, lead volume, and lead-delivery accuracy
- Deliver accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting with actionable insights and trends
- Build cost models and performance projections to support channel forecasting and operational planning
- Maintain strong lead quality standards and ensure reporting supports ongoing campaign improvements
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a Data Analyst, Campaign Analyst, CRM Analyst, Marketing Ops, or campaign execution role
- Strong analytical ability with advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas, large dataset handling)
- Experience using SQL, EasyMorph, or similar tools for data processing and automation (highly beneficial)
- Solid understanding of lead generation and performance metrics (CPL, response rate, conversion funnels)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate outputs under time pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaign deliverables simultaneously and prioritise effectively
