Market related increase

 Benefits:

Clear path to senior leadership / hands-on growth in AI tools, Power BI, SQL and automation / exposure to international markets / a collaborative team that values output over hours

About the Company

A fast-growing South African consumer rewards and fintech platform, based in Johannesburg, that helps everyday people earn more from their daily habits. Through everyday activity such as shopping, surveys and mobile gaming, members turn ordinary routines into cashback, vouchers, airtime and other rewards, with millions of rand already paid out to users across the country.

The business is scaling its technology and operations into new international markets and is building a culture where AI tools and automation sit at the centre of how the company runs, from reporting through to customer operations and day to day decision-making. It is a fast-moving, systems-minded environment that values output and genuine ownership.

For the right person this is a chance to help shape how a growing fintech operates from the inside, with real influence over how the business is run and a clear route into senior leadership as it expands.

Job Overview

We are looking for an AI Technical Operations Specialist to own the operational and technical backbone of the business, including systems, automations, data pipelines and reporting, and to lead how AI is embedded across the company. This is a hands-on, builder's role for someone who works at the intersection of AI, automation, data and operations.

You will identify where AI and automation can create real impact, build and ship working solutions, and measure the results, while keeping the operational engine of the business running smoothly day to day. Think AI-assisted reporting and forecasting, workflow automation, intelligent monitoring and anomaly detection, and practical tools that make every team faster and sharper.

The role reports into the senior leadership team and works closely with the Operations Manager. It suits a curious, reliable engineer or systems thinker who would rather ship a working solution than write a strategy deck, and who wants to grow into a senior leadership position owning AI and technical strategy across international markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

AI Strategy and Implementation

  • Identify where AI and automation can create real impact across reporting, operations, customer support and decision-making.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered tools and workflows using platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents and automation builders.
  • Pilot, test and scale AI use cases across the business, then measure their impact.
  • Track the AI landscape and bring useful new tools and techniques into the business early.

Systems Monitoring and Intelligence

  • Build and maintain monitoring infrastructure across systems, integrations and dashboards.
  • Design AI-assisted alerting and anomaly detection that catches issues before they become problems.
  • Build and maintain Power BI reporting infrastructure, enhanced with AI-driven insights and forecasting.
  • Turn raw, messy data into clean, AI-augmented analysis that supports faster decisions.

Data and Reporting

  • Work with medium to large datasets across multiple sources and systems.
  • Design data structures and validation logic that keep operational data clean and trustworthy.
  • Build automated, AI-enhanced reporting pipelines for weekly and monthly performance analysis.
  • Support the data infrastructure behind campaigns, gaming, rewards and slip-processing systems.

  • Architect and build automation systems using tools such as Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script, MessageBird and ActiveCampaign, with AI added where it brings value.
  • Debug and root-cause workflow failures down to the system level.
  • Build maintainable, well-documented automation and AI architecture.
  • Continuously re-engineer processes to remove manual overhead through automation and AI.

Technical Systems and Integrations

  • Research, evaluate and integrate new AI tools and platforms.
  • Own configuration, integration and technical documentation for new systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and AI-enabled system designs.
  • Build process architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Testing and Cross-Team Support

  • Run UAT and technical testing for new product features and integrations.
  • Log, triage and track bugs through to resolution with the development team.
  • Support AI adoption across teams through training, tooling and best practice.

Minimum Requirements

  • A completed or in-progress technical or analytical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Actuarial Science, Data Science or similar). Other technical or analytical qualifications considered alongside demonstrated ability.
  • Hands-on, practical experience with AI tools, such as LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude), AI agents, prompt engineering or AI-enabled automation, with genuine interest in the AI space and how to apply it.
  • Strong analytical and systems thinking, comfortable working with data and finding the signal in the noise.

Personal Attributes

  • Genuinely interested in AI, experimenting with new tools and following the space closely.
  • An engineer or systems thinker who works in architectures, workflows and root causes.
  • Analytically sharp and comfortable turning messy data into clear answers.
  • A builder who would rather ship a working solution than describe one.
  • Highly reliable, doing what they say they will do.
  • A clear, structured and direct communicator.
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Hungry to grow into a senior leadership role owning AI strategy across a growing business.

How to Apply?

This is a rare chance to own how a growing fintech uses AI from the inside, with real ownership of systems, architecture and the AI roadmap from day one. BI Developer (SQL)

BI Developer (SQL)

 Location:

Hybrid Work ( Cape Town)

Industry: Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
 Level: Junior to Mid Level
 Salary

Market related increase

 Benefits:

Performance Bonusses / Project-based hybrid: fully remote for weeks or months between projects, then on client site Monday to Friday for the length of each project, plus upskilling in Qlik and Power BI

About the Company

This is a fast-growing South African data analytics and business intelligence consultancy that believes in simplification and empowerment. The business helps clients cut down on repetitive, manual admin so their people can spend more time on the work that makes a real difference, achieved through data analysis solutions, business intelligence and system integration built on leading technologies and platforms.

The focus is on turning complex, fragmented data into clear, actionable insight. Consultants design dashboards, data models and automated processes that improve reporting accuracy and support faster, better operational decisions. While the business is South African, it works with clients across Africa, with particular strength in the distribution and manufacturing sectors.

This is a lean, delivery-focused team where quality work is noticed and career growth is real. For a consultant who enjoys variety, direct client contact and solving genuine business problems with data, it offers exposure across multiple industries and a clear path into senior and lead roles.

Job Overview

We are hiring a SQL Developer who will be trained to become client-facing, using business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense, QlikView or Power BI. You will already be at expert level as a SQL Developer, capable of using SQL as the main tool you work in every day. The role is about taking raw, and often messy, data from a range of client source systems, then cleaning, transforming and shaping it into accurate, well-structured data models that dashboards and reports are built on. This is data-transformation and data-engineering work, not simple querying or running pre-built reports. You will write layered, efficient queries that stand up at volume, work through real-world data-quality problems, stage data across multiple steps, perform reconciliations to prove the numbers are right, and build logic that can be reused across different clients and datasets. In short, most of the thinking and the heavy lifting happens in your SQL before anything reaches the front end.

This is a hands-on Business Intelligence Consultant role centred on delivering data solutions to clients on their premises. You will spend much of your time on client sites, developing a thorough understanding of each business and implementing systems and processes that improve how they operate. The work centres on Qlik implementations, dashboard development, data modelling and integrations, with additional exposure to process automation where relevant.

You will engage directly with senior executives, deliver value daily and build skills across a range of industries. Reporting to the company leadership, you will take ownership of projects from start to finish. It is a genuine consulting position that opens career paths towards roles such as senior business intelligence consultant, implementation specialist, integration expert and team or department lead.

This is a high-growth, high-challenge opportunity in a client-facing, on-site environment where good work is recognised and rewarded. It suits someone who wants to develop quickly, take real ownership and see the direct impact of their work on client businesses.

Duties and Responsibilities

Data Solutions Design and Delivery

  • Design, develop, test, implement and document end-to-end data solutions that turn business questions into usable analytics outputs.
  • Build data models, dashboards and dynamic reports, primarily on Qlik.
  • Write and optimise SQL queries and scripts to connect and process data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

Client Engagement and Business Analysis

  • Work on client premises, building a thorough understanding of each client business and its operations.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications through business and process analysis.
  • Prepare and present demonstrations and proofs of concept to client stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Identify opportunities to add value and recommend practical solutions.

Data Quality and Process Automation

  • Ensure data accuracy and perform data reconciliations.
  • Automate manual processes and add efficiency wherever possible.

Project Delivery

  • Manage projects from start to finish, taking ownership of delivery and outcomes.
  • Collaborate on client challenges spanning data and wider IT business processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in solid SQL Development (Primary Requirement), which must include:
    • CTEs
    • Window functions
    • Complex joins
    • Temp tables
    • Dynamic queries
    • Building ETL processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the flexibility to adapt across different client environments.

Nice-To-Have

  • Hands-on experience with a business intelligence or analytics platform, either QlikView, Qlik Sense or Power BI.
  • Exposure to process automation and system integration work.
  • Experience with distribution, manufacturing or supply chain data, such as stock, inventory, procurement, logistics or demand planning.
  • Exposure to ERP data and data reconciliations.
  • Experience within a client-facing or consulting capacity delivering data or analytics solutions, rather than pure back-office reporting.
  • Experience diagnosing issues, designing efficient approaches and building solutions that scale without constant rework.
  • A relevant qualification such as a BEng, BSc or BCom in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering or Mathematical Sciences, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong analytical and data skills.

Personal Attributes

This is a client-facing role, so the right person is confident working directly with clients and enjoys owning delivery. The ideal candidate is:

  • Self-motivated and self-reliant, able to work independently on client sites.
  • Driven and focused on delivering value daily.
  • A strong communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical and methodical, with a genuine interest in solving business problems through data.
  • Adaptable across different industries and client environments.

How to Apply?

This is more than a standard BI role. It is a chance to work hands-on with real client businesses, deliver value from day one and build a broad, highly marketable skill set across data, analytics and process automation.

If you enjoy solving business problems with data and want to grow quickly in a client-facing consulting environment, we would like to hear from you.

Full Stack Developer - AI Products (React & Next.js)

Full Stack Developer - AI Products (React & Next.js)

 Location: Fully remote (South Africa)
 Industry:

AI Consumer Product ( US based company)

 Level:

Mid to Senior Full Stack Engineer / Developer

 Salary

Market related increase

 Benefits:

Fully remote / Permanent role / Working directly with the founder of a fast-growing AI company / High autonomy and genuine ownership of the experience layer / Continuous shipping to production

About the Company

This opportunity is with a fast-moving consumer technology business building a portfolio of AI-powered consumer products aimed at a global audience. The business is well funded, has a strong runway, and is led by a founder with a serious track record of building and scaling consumer internet businesses to significant exits.

The portfolio spans consumer AI, prediction markets and AI-generated content, with live products already in market and global press attention. The core technology has been built and proven, the team is in place, and the focus now is taking these products to the world.

The team is small, senior and AI-native. Full architecture rebuilds are measured in days, not quarters, and engineers are trusted with real ownership from day one. This is an environment for someone who wants to build complete, polished experiences, ship continuously, and see their work in the hands of real users quickly.

Job Overview

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer to help build the next wave of this company's AI products. The core architecture, data pipelines and engines are already built and proven. Your job is to take new product verticals from an existing engine through to a live, playable, beautifully finished product, owning the full slice from the data your product consumes to the polished, mobile-first world players actually use. More than ten further products are planned for a global market, so this is a build-heavy role with a long runway.

This is a genuine full-stack role. Ideally you are strong across both a Python and FastAPI back end and a Next.js and React front end. Front-end and product craft is where the role leans most, since the experience layer is what makes each product succeed, but you will also work across the back end, building on top of the existing services and engines rather than architecting them from scratch.

The role works closely with, and reports to, the technical founder, who owns the underlying engines and architecture. It will suit a senior engineer who enjoys full ownership across the stack, has real front-end and product strength, and is genuinely interested in markets, odds and probability. In return you get a defined role on an exciting product, real autonomy, and the chance to help take a category-first business to a global audience at pace.

Duties and Responsibilities

Building New Product Verticals End to End

  • Take each new vertical from an existing engine and data pipeline through to a live, playable product.
  • Own the full slice, from the data each product consumes to the finished, mobile-first world players use.
  • Ship complete, polished products to production continuously as new verticals are added.

Front-End and Game-Grade Interfaces

  • Build mobile-first front-end worlds in Next.js 15 (App Router), React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4.
  • Create rich, animated interfaces where motion comes from real, moving data, using tools such as MapLibre GL, particle layers and live WebSocket feeds.
  • Work with TanStack Query and zod-validated API contracts, keeping business surfaces clean and easy to read.

Back-End and Data Integration

  • Work across the existing Python 3.12 and FastAPI back end, building on top of established services and engines.
  • Extend APIs, schemas and data flows (SQLAlchemy, asyncpg, Alembic, PostgreSQL) to support new products.
  • Handle financial values with exact-decimal precision and respect the existing correctness culture.

Correctness, AI-Assisted Delivery and Ways of Working

  • Uphold a correctness culture where every surface reports honestly when a data source is unavailable, rather than masking the failure.
  • Direct, review and ship AI-assisted work to senior-engineer quality, using AI coding tools as a core part of how you build.
  • Work in small pull requests with fast review loops and deploy-on-merge, on Google Cloud with GitHub Actions CI/CD.

Minimum Requirements

  • Senior full-stack engineering depth, ideally strong across both a Python and FastAPI back end and a Next.js, React and TypeScript front end.
  • Particular strength in front-end development and building high-quality, mobile-first user interfaces.
  • Comfortable working across the back end and building on top of existing services and engines, rather than needing to architect them from scratch.
  • Exposure to PostgreSQL and modern ORM and data tooling such as SQLAlchemy and Alembic.
  • Heavy, skilled use of AI coding tools to compress build time without compromising quality.
  • Speed as a habit, including small pull requests, fast review loops and comfort with deploy-on-merge.
  • A genuine interest in markets, odds and probability.
  • Strong product sensibility, with clear opinions on what makes a mobile interface work and the restraint to keep business surfaces clean.

Nice to Have

  • Map, canvas or WebGL rendering experience, such as MapLibre, particle layers or GPU heatmaps, which is a strong plus given the map-based worlds.
  • A games or gaming background, including experience building game loops, progression systems or game-quality user interfaces.
  • Experience with real-time data systems, including WebSockets at scale and streaming ingestion.
  • Deeper back-end or data-engineering strength, including building services, engines or pipelines from scratch.
  • LLM API experience beyond chat, including tool use, agents and structured output.
  • Production experience on Google Cloud or an equivalent platform.
  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

Personal Attributes

  • Comfortable with high autonomy and full end-to-end ownership across the stack.
  • Biased towards shipping, in small, frequent increments.
  • Collaborative and receptive to feedback, with a strong work ethic.
  • Rigorous about correctness, quality and honest failure states.
  • Genuinely curious about markets, odds and probability.
  • Product-minded, with a good sense of what makes a mobile experience enjoyable and where detail becomes noise.

How to Apply?

If you are a senior full-stack engineer with real front-end strength, enjoy owning complete products, and like shipping fast with modern AI tooling, we would like to hear from you. With more than ten further AI products planned for a global market, this is a rare chance to build at pace and see your work in the hands of real users.

Information Security Manager

Information Security Manager

 Location:

Hybrid Work ( Johannesburg or Durban based)

 Industry: iGaming / Gaming Technology
Level: Senior / Management Level - Information Security Management System (ISMS) Manager (5 to 8 years +)
 Salary

Market related increase

 Benefits:

Hybrid working model/ Pension / Annual Performance Bonus

About the Company

Our client is a well-established international gaming technology and content provider that's been around for more than two decades, supplying licensed betting and casino operators across a wide range of regulated markets. Their products are independently tested and certified to international standards, and their reputation rests on the integrity, security and technical quality of everything they put into the market.

Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the business sits at the point where technology, product and regulation meet. As they continue to expand into newly licensed markets, security, risk and compliance have become central to how safely and credibly they can grow, which makes this a genuinely strategic function rather than a back-office one.

The environment is collaborative and standards-led, with a strong emphasis on integrity, clarity and ownership. You would have real visibility across technology, product, operations, legal and executive leadership, and the standing to set the security and governance agenda for the business.

Job Overview

We are looking for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) Manager to lead information security governance, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance across a highly regulated iGaming environment. The role reports to the Director of Legal and Compliance and works closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across Technology, Product, Operations, Legal and Compliance.

This is a standalone leadership role rather than a team-management one. You will personally own the ISO 27001-aligned Information Security Management System, provide strategic oversight of cyber, operational and technology risk, and translate regulatory and technical requirements into practical governance frameworks that drive accountability across the business.

It will suit an experienced security and risk leader who is comfortable being the authoritative voice in the room, enjoys influencing without direct authority, and wants the visibility that comes with reporting risk and assurance directly to executive management and the Audit and Risk Committee. The role is offered on a hybrid basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework, aligned to ISO 31000 and business strategy.
  • Own the enterprise-wide risk process, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, prioritised, mitigated, monitored and reported across all business functions.
  • Chair risk assessment workshops with business and technical stakeholders, driving accountability for risk ownership and treatment.
  • Maintain executive oversight of the central risk register, keeping it complete and aligned to the organisation's risk appetite and tolerance thresholds.
  • Provide strategic risk insight to senior leadership, enabling informed decisions on operational, regulatory, cyber and technology risk.
  • Track and report key risk indicators, control effectiveness and remediation progress, and oversee the optimisation of GRC platforms and reporting.

Information Security Management System (ISMS) Oversight

  • Take full ownership of the Information Security Management System, ensuring its ongoing effectiveness, maturity and alignment to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
  • Lead the development, review, approval and communication of information security policies, standards, procedures and controls across the organisation.
  • Drive the information security roadmap so that security initiatives support business priorities, regulatory obligations and operational resilience.

Regulatory Compliance and iGaming Assurance

  • Lead information security and risk compliance across relevant iGaming jurisdictions, aligned to applicable regulatory, legal and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain oversight of compliance with standards and regulations including POPIA, GDPR, UKGC requirements and other jurisdiction-specific obligations.
  • Coordinate regulatory and certification audits across internal teams, external providers and international stakeholders, ensuring timely readiness and response.
  • Interpret regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business and security requirements, partnering with relevant teams to deliver them.
  • Act as the central point of contact for risk, compliance and information security in support of regulatory inspections, client due diligence and audit requests.

Leadership, Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the lead representative for ISMS, cyber risk and security governance, engaging confidently with senior stakeholders, committees, auditors and external partners.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across Technology, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance and executive leadership to embed risk-aware decision-making.
  • Support business leaders in understanding their control responsibilities, security obligations and risk ownership.
  • Drive a culture of security awareness, accountability and continuous improvement through training, communication and governance initiatives.
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports to executive management and the Audit and Risk Committee on risk exposure, audit outcomes, security maturity and remediation.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years' experience within iGaming, sports betting or a similarly stringent, highly regulated digital transaction environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of international iGaming compliance frameworks and how the iGaming industry operates.
  • A tertiary qualification (degree or higher) in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management or a related discipline, and / or a recognised professional certification such as CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor.

Nice-To-Have

  • Hands-on experience maintaining or certifying an ISMS specifically against ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
  • Familiarity with ISO 31000 enterprise risk management and the administration of GRC platforms.
  • Exposure to multiple international iGaming jurisdictions, including UKGC requirements.
  • Experience reporting risk and security matters to an Audit and Risk Committee or equivalent governance forum.

Personal Attributes

The ideal person is:

  • An excellent communicator, able to articulate complex technical and risk matters to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and authoritative way.
  • Honest, with high personal integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
  • A critical and analytical thinker, with sound problem-solving judgement.
  • Proactive and agile, comfortable adapting in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment.
  • Structured, disciplined and process-driven in approach.

How to Apply?

This is a standalone leadership role with genuine influence, owning information security, enterprise risk and regulatory assurance across a licensed, multi-jurisdictional gaming environment. You would be the authoritative voice on ISMS and cyber risk, engaging directly with executive leadership and the Audit and Risk Committee, and shaping the security and governance maturity of the business.

If you are an experienced information security and risk leader who knows the iGaming world, we would like to hear from you.

Infrastructure Architect (Virtualization, Storage & Backup)

Infrastructure Architect (Virtualization, Storage & Backup)

 Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg
 Industry: Industrial Manufacturing
 Level:

Infrastructure Architect (10 years +)

 Salary Market related increase
Benefits: Medical aid / Guaranteed 13th cheque / Short-term incentive bonus / Pension fund / Car allowance and fuel card / Company-funded further studies / Travel allowance

About the Company

This opportunity is with a long-established industrial business that has operated across South Africa for more than fifty years, running production plants and operations nationally. It is a substantial, stable organisation with a strong engineering culture and a deep, well-earned focus on safety and operational reliability.

This is a people-centred environment of several hundred employees, known for unusually long staff tenure, with many engineers and specialists building entire careers here. The pace is measured rather than pressured, the kind of place where you are given the time and the tools to design things properly rather than firefight.

The business backs its technical people in practice, not just on paper. It funds further qualifications and certifications aligned to your role, supports ongoing study, and is now investing seriously in modernising its infrastructure and digitising its operations. For an infrastructure architect who wants genuine design authority, good kit and a long-term build mandate, this is a rare combination of stability and real technical opportunity.

Job Overview

We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to take full architectural ownership of the virtualisation, storage and backup domain, from High-Level and Low-Level Design through to build, implementation and ongoing operations. You will be the design authority and technical decision-maker for a VMware vSphere environment, the underlying server and storage hardware, and a Veeam Backup & Replication platform protecting both enterprise and operational technology (OT) workloads across the business and its plants nationally. The role sits within a small, experienced MIS team and reports to the MIS Operations Manager.

The reason this role exists is architecture-led, not operational. The business is investing in new infrastructure, including new data centre builds and a broader digitisation programme, and is bringing this capability in-house from the external consultants who currently hold it. You will be the person who architects, sizes and designs those environments end to end and then leads the build into production. We are specifically looking for someone whose career identity is architecture and greenfield design, not an engineer who has done some design work on top of a maintenance career.

You will operate with genuine autonomy as the subject matter expert for this domain, producing the design documentation, setting architectural standards, specifying the resources and tooling required, and being trusted to deliver. Alongside the design and build work you will own the day-to-day health, capacity, performance and recoverability of the estate, supported by the wider MIS team on the operational side. The role involves occasional travel to plants across South Africa as new infrastructure is commissioned, and occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance windows to run backups and changes outside production. In return, the environment is measured rather than pressured, and the business is flexible about how that time is balanced.

Duties and Responsibilities

Architecture and Design

  • Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for the virtualisation, storage and backup estate.
  • Architect, size and design new infrastructure and data centre environments from the ground up, covering compute, storage, virtualisation and backup.
  • Set architectural standards, select technologies, and define the technical direction for this domain.
  • Lead the in-housing of architecture and build capability currently held by external consultants.

Virtualisation and Compute

  • Own the VMware vSphere environment end to end, including cluster topology design, host build and configuration, resource management, patching and lifecycle.
  • Design and manage the server hardware estate that underpins the virtual platform, from specification and commissioning through to capacity planning.
  • Monitor performance and availability across the virtual estate, tuning and remediating proactively rather than reactively.

Storage

  • Design and administer the enterprise storage infrastructure, including SAN fabric design, LUN layout, tiering, provisioning and lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure storage is designed and configured to meet the performance, resilience and growth requirements of both enterprise and operational technology workloads.

Backup, Replication and Recovery

  • Own the Veeam Backup & Replication platform protecting enterprise and operational technology (OT) workloads across the business and its plants.
  • Design the backup and replication topology, including proxy and repository sizing, recovery point and recovery time objectives, and verify recoverability through regular restore testing.
  • Administer the user backup infrastructure and ensure consistent, reliable protection across the environment.
  • Plan and execute backups and changes within maintenance windows outside production, including occasional after-hours or weekend work.

Data Centre Build and Programme Delivery

  • Lead the design and commissioning of new data centre environments, including racking, cabling, power and cooling planning, structured cabling and commissioning into production.
  • Contribute to the broader digitisation programme, helping to move the business onto modern infrastructure.
  • Scope, plan and deliver special projects end to end, from design through to production handover.

Vendors, Documentation and Compliance

  • Manage third-party contractors and vendors, holding them to clear architectural and delivery standards.
  • Maintain accurate, current infrastructure documentation, covering architecture, configurations and operational procedures.
  • Work in strict accordance with the company's safety procedures, as appropriate to an industrial operating environment, and consistently apply Basic Safety Practice (BSP) activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Deep, extensive and current architectural experience: hands-on experience designing and building enterprise infrastructure from the ground up (bare metal upward), including sizing and commissioning compute and storage, designing the virtualisation and backup topology, and implementing to production standard. This must be the core of the candidate's career, not incidental to a maintenance role. Absolutely non-negotiable.
  • Around 10 years' hands-on experience engineering and administering enterprise infrastructure across virtualisation, compute, storage and backup.
  • Strong VMware vSphere experience, supported by VMware Certified Professional (VCP6, VCP7, VCP8 or VCP9). Essential.
  • Strong Veeam Backup & Replication experience, ideally supported by Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE). Essential.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
  • Windows Server administration experience, supported by Microsoft certification (MCSA, MCSE, MCITP Enterprise Administrator, or a current Microsoft equivalent). Legacy certifications are accepted where previously obtained.
  • Enterprise storage experience, ideally across IBM storage, tape and fibre, supported by IBM Certified Specialist credentials or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, plant or operational technology (OT) environment.
  • A track record of data centre design, build or migration projects.
  • Experience operating and protecting infrastructure across multiple, geographically distributed sites.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical or otherwise regulated operating environments.
  • Exposure to infrastructure modernisation or digitisation programmes.
  • A valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa as new infrastructure is commissioned, and to work occasional maintenance windows outside production hours.

Advantageous

  • A genuine architect, comfortable being the design authority and the final technical word on this domain.
  • A builder at heart, energised by standing up new environments rather than only keeping the lights on.
  • Self-directed and accountable, able to specify what is needed and deliver it with minimal oversight.
  • Methodical and thorough, with the design documentation discipline a critical estate demands.
  • Considered and pragmatic, suited to an environment that values doing things properly over rushing.
  • Safety-conscious, given the nature of the operating environment.
  • Motivated by ownership and by building something that lasts.

How to Apply?

This is a rare chance to take full architectural ownership of a business-critical infrastructure estate and design its next generation. You will architect and stand up new data centre environments, set the standard as design and build capability moves in-house, and do it with real autonomy, good tooling and the backing of a stable, well-established business.

If you are an infrastructure architect who has genuinely designed and built environments from the ground up and wants ownership, technical depth and long-term security, we would like to hear from you.

Its users browse live markets, build their own automated trading agents, and explore real market data using virtual funds, so they can learn, experiment, and compete without putting real money at risk.

Behind the product sits a real, production-grade system: a multi-service backend that ingests live data from several market providers, an agent runner that executes user-built strategies, an in-product AI copilot, and a polished web application. The team holds a high bar for correctness, because when you are simulating trading, a small rounding error or a stale data feed is the difference between a platform people trust and one they do not.

This is a genuinely small team, which means real ownership from week one. The person who joins will see how every layer fits together, work directly alongside experienced engineers, and grow quickly through mentorship and review on everything they ship.

Job Overview

This is a broad junior engineering role where testing is the on-ramp into the wider codebase. For the first few months, most of the work will be testing: exercising new features end to end, hunting regressions, and writing acceptance scripts that drive the real system. Testing is the fastest way to learn how everything works, because to test a feature well you first have to understand what it is meant to do and how it is built.

From there, the role opens up. As you find your footing, you will move into the frontend, the backend, the data pipeline, and the operational tooling, picking up real features with mentorship and review throughout. The team is looking for a generalist who is curious about the whole stack, not someone who wants to stay in one lane. The path is simple: start by verifying the system, then grow into building it.

You do not need to know the tools on day one. What matters is being a strong learner who is rigorous, honest about what does and does not work, and genuinely interested in how things fit together end to end. You will work closely with experienced engineers, with review and feedback on everything you produce.

Duties and Responsibilities

Testing and Verification

  • Test new features end to end before they reach users, across agent creation, the trading runner, live market data, and the web application, and report clearly on what works and what does not.
  • Write acceptance scripts that drive the real system against real data and return a clear pass or fail, so every check is repeatable rather than relying on someone remembering to run it by hand.

Regression Hunting and Debugging

  • Reproduce reported bugs, narrow them down to a root cause, and hand engineers a tight, reproducible report, or fix the issue directly once ready.

Data Correctness

  • Confirm that data ingested from upstream market providers matches what users see, and that money, prices, and share counts remain exact at all times.

Growing into Building

  • Take on small frontend, backend, database, and tooling tasks over time, with mentorship and code review on everything delivered.

Documentation

  • Turn ad-hoc testing into runbooks and repeatable checks that the next person, or an automated agent, can re-run.

Minimum Requirements

  • A degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or similar), or equivalent demonstrable ability.
  • Genuine comfort with logic, systems and detail, and an interest in taking things apart to understand how they work.
  • Some programming exposure through coursework, projects, internships or personal projects, with the ability to read code and write a script (production software experience is not expected).
  • Clear written communication, particularly the ability to write a good bug report and a clear summary of what was tested and found.
  • Intellectual honesty, saying plainly when something is broken, half-working or untested rather than papering over it.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Python and / or TypeScript / JavaScript.
  • Exposure to SQL and relational databases.
  • Any experience with web apps, APIs, or the command line and Git.
  • An interest in markets, trading, data or AI.

Personal Attributes

  • Curious about how a whole system fits together, not just one part of it.
  • Rigorous and detail-focused, especially where accuracy matters.
  • Honest and straightforward about what does and does not work.
  • A strong, self-driven learner who is comfortable with autonomy.
  • Reliable and clear in written communication.

How to Apply?

This is a rare chance to work shoulder to shoulder with a serial founder and see, first hand, how high-growth businesses are built. If you are exceptionally capable, obsessed with AI tools, and ready to work hard in exchange for an experience that very few people ever get, we would like to hear from you.

Legal & Compliance Advisor

Legal & Compliance Advisor

 Location:

Hybrid Work ( Johannesburg North)

 Industry: iGaming / Gaming Technology
 Level: Intermediate
 Salary

Market related increase

 Benefits:

Hybrid working model/ Pension / Annual Performance Bonus

About the Company

An established international gaming technology and content provider, supplying licensed betting and casino businesses across regulated markets worldwide. This is a B2B business rather than a consumer-facing brand, building and licensing the products and platform that its clients take to market under their own names.

Regulation sits at the centre of everything the business does. It holds supplier licences, certifications and registrations across multiple jurisdictions spanning Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and its ability to enter new markets and sign new clients depends directly on getting the legal and compliance work right. South African operations are limited by comparison, so the work here is genuinely international in scope.

The legal and compliance function is small, commercially engaged and pragmatic. It works alongside commercial, product and engineering teams rather than at arm's length, and the culture places a high value on clarity, collaboration and integrity.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Legal and Compliance Advisor to join an in-house legal team, reporting to the Director of Legal and Compliance. The role has no direct reports and works closely with commercial, product and technical teams across the business.

The remit is deliberately broad. You will provide end-to-end legal and regulatory support across a B2B gaming product and service offering, covering multi-jurisdictional licensing, commercial contracting, data protection, financial crime and internal governance. It is the kind of role where you will touch a licence submission, a platform supply agreement and a data processing agreement in the same week.

This suits a lawyer who is already inside the gambling sector and wants breadth and international exposure rather than a narrow slice of one contract type. You will work directly under a senior legal leader with the support that brings, and the depth of experience you already have will shape how much of the mandate you carry from the outset.

Duties and Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance and Licensing

  • Monitor and interpret gaming regulations across multiple regions as they apply to B2B suppliers.
  • Support the maintenance and renewal of supplier licences, certificates and registrations, including the preparation of regulatory submissions.
  • Track legislative and regulatory developments globally, assess the business impact and brief internal stakeholders on the response required.
  • Liaise with regulators and external counsel on compliance queries, inspections and correspondence.

Commercial and Contractual

  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including platform supply agreements, reseller agreements, white-label contracts, API integration agreements and NDAs.
  • Advise commercial and account management teams on contractual risk, obligations and escalations.
  • Maintain and improve standard contract templates and playbooks to support efficient deal execution.
  • Support partnership due diligence and new market entry from a legal and compliance perspective.

Data Protection and Privacy

  • Act as a subject matter expert on GDPR and other applicable data protection regimes relevant to the sector.
  • Maintain and update data processing agreements, Records of Processing Activities, POPIA and PAIA manuals and privacy notices.
  • Advise on data sharing arrangements with clients, third-party processors and technology partners.
  • Support responses to data subject requests and data breach incidents.

Financial Crime and Responsible Gambling

  • Maintain and enhance AML and CFT policies and procedures in line with applicable regulations and FATF guidance.
  • Support the implementation of responsible gambling obligations applicable to B2B suppliers, including technical and contractual requirements passed through from clients.
  • Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews and support external audits and regulatory examinations.

Internal Legal Support and Governance

  • Provide day-to-day legal guidance across business functions, including product, finance, people and culture, and marketing.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures and compliance training material.
  • Manage and instruct external legal counsel where required, with an eye on cost-effectiveness and quality of advice.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including board minutes, entity management and subsidiary compliance.

Gaming Standards and Technical Compliance

  • Advise on the legal and regulatory requirements relating to game and platform certification, including engagement with approved testing laboratories.
  • Support the business in meeting the technical compliance standards imposed by regulators as a condition of supplier approval, including RNG certification, RTP requirements and game fairness obligations.
  • Review and advise on technical compliance clauses in client agreements, ensuring obligations around certification, audit access and regulatory reporting are appropriately allocated.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to identify the compliance implications of new features, game mechanics or platform changes ahead of release.

Minimum Requirements

  • An LLB or an equivalent common law legal qualification. This does not need to be a South African LLB, and qualifications from other common law jurisdictions are welcome. Admission is not a requirement, although candidates who have completed articles are preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience within the iGaming or gambling sector, gained in-house or through direct work for gambling businesses.
  • Online gaming experience with international market exposure. Experience limited to South African land-based gaming will not be suitable for this role.
  • A working understanding of B2B supplier obligations within regulated gaming frameworks, whether gained on the supplier side or from the client side of those same agreements.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, POPIA and similar data protection legislation, and its practical application in a technology business.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to balance legal risk against business objectives.
  • Up to five years of post-qualification experience. Candidates with less will be considered where the gaming and B2B supplier experience is there.
  • South African citizenship, permanent residence or an unrestricted right to work in South Africa. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience with AML and CFT compliance programmes in a gaming or fintech context.
  • Familiarity with certification and technical compliance standards such as GLI, BMM or iTech Labs.
  • Exposure to intellectual property, software licensing or open-source compliance matters.
  • Experience supporting regulatory applications and submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese or French.

Personal Attributes

  • An excellent communicator, both written and spoken.
  • Honest, with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Proactive, and comfortable raising issues before they become problems.
  • Analytical, with sound critical reasoning.
  • Accountable, and willing to own outcomes rather than tasks.
  • Adaptable, and able to move between subject areas in the same day.
  • Process driven, with the discipline to keep records, registers and renewals in order.

How to Apply?

This is a broad in-house mandate with genuine international reach, working directly with a senior legal leader in a business where compliance is commercially central rather than an afterthought. If you are working in gaming and want more scope than your current role gives you, we would like to hear from you.

Organic Growth Lead / Manager

Organic Growth Lead / Manager

 Location:

Fully Remote - South Africa

Industry: Consumer Technology and AI Products
Level: Expert Level (Social-First, Hands-On, Not Paid Media)
 Salary

Market related, open and negotiable for the right person, with performance-linked upside and potential equity participation

 Benefits:

Fully remote / Performance incentives tied to measurable growth / Long-term upside and potential equity for exceptional performers / Real ownership of the growth function from day one

About the Company

This opportunity is with a fast-moving consumer technology business building a portfolio of AI-powered consumer products for a global audience. The business is well funded, has a strong runway, and is led by a founder with a genuine track record of building businesses from nothing into major successes.

The products sit right at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence, genuinely new categories that have never existed before. The engineering and product capability is already world class and the core technology is built and proven. The products are best in breed, with no real comparable in the market. What is missing is the person who can take them to the world and make them spread.

This is a small, elite team with the ambition to build something significant with very few people, fast. If you are genuinely excited by AI, want to work at the front of where it is heading, and want to be part of something big rather than just another job, this is that opportunity.

Job Overview

We are looking for someone who just gets the internet, who knows in their gut how to make something take off, get shared and get talked about. This is a hands-on role for someone who gets into the trenches and does the work themselves, not someone who manages it from a distance.

The real game here is organic. It is Reddit, X, Instagram and the rest, and knowing in your bones how content actually travels, gets discovered and gets shared on each one. You know the difference between a post that dies in the feed and one that takes off, because you have made the ones that take off.

No degree required, no polished CV, no corporate ladder, we genuinely do not care. Talent, instinct and proof are the only currency here.

Duties and Responsibilities

Content and Virality (the core of the role)

  • Personally create content that travels: posts, threads, short-form video, hooks and copy that get noticed, shared and talked about.
  • Understand the mechanics and algorithms of each platform, especially Reddit, X and Instagram, and use that understanding to engineer organic reach.
  • Spot and ride emerging trends, formats and opportunities early, before they become widely contested.
  • Apply a real understanding of consumer psychology to hook attention, hold it, and convert interest into action.

Organic Audience and Community Growth

  • Build and grow the products' presence and communities across the major social platforms, from the ground up.
  • Turn attention into engaged, returning users, and build the momentum and word of mouth that drives referral and sharing.
  • Work closely with the founders, product and engineering teams to make the products themselves more engaging and more shareable.

Engagement and Retention

  • Understand how to attract users and, just as importantly, how to keep them coming back and bringing others with them.
  • Use the products' built-in viral and engagement mechanics to grow an active, loyal user base.

Testing and Iteration

  • Constantly test content ideas, hooks, formats and angles, doubling down on what works and dropping what does not.
  • Study internet culture, competitors and what is performing across platforms, every single day.
  • Move quickly, try things and learn fast, without waiting for endless meetings or sign-off.

Supporting Paid Activity (secondary)

  • Manage a small companion budget across channels such as Google or Meta where it supports the organic effort. This is a minor, supporting part of the role, not its purpose.

You're a match made in heaven if you:

  • Have made things go viral and can prove it, threads that blew up, posts that popped off, a following you built from zero.
  • Have built your own real following on any of these platforms, the bigger the better (think six figures, hundreds of thousands of followers or views), though any seriously self-built, engaged audience will get our attention if you grew it yourself.
  • Know your way around the full spread of platforms, not just Google and Meta, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, X, Facebook, Discord, LinkedIn and Pinterest, with real hands-on experience across most of them, not just one or two.
  • Live on Reddit, X and Instagram and actually get how each one works, the algorithms, the hooks, the formats, the culture.
  • Get the hook, you know how to stop the scroll, bait the click, and convert attention into action, because you have done it, not read about it.
  • Know in your bones why some content rips and other content sinks.
  • Have built and grown your own audience, page, community or side hustle, just because you could.
  • Move fast, test everything, and back yourself to figure it out without a meeting about the meeting.
  • Are genuinely buzzing about AI and want to be at the front of it, not watching from the sidelines.
  • Bring big energy, low ego and high ownership, you make it happen and you own the result.

Sorry, you're not the one if you:

  • Pitch yourself as a paid media or performance marketing person, this is not that role.
  • Lead with “I manage six-figure ad budgets”
  • Live in CPA, CPC and ROAS reports and call that growth.
  • See running Google and Meta campaigns as the main event rather than a small companion to the real, organic work.
  • Need a big team, a big budget and a month of meetings before anything ships.
  • Think “growth” means impressions, brand awareness and a tidy slide deck.
  • Have never really posted anything yourself and do not actually use the platforms.
  • Get your strategy from a textbook instead of from living on the internet.

Extra points in your favour

  • Experience growing audiences in social gaming, dating apps or social apps, where engagement and virality are everything. (Strong fit. Casino and pure paid-acquisition backgrounds are not what we are after.)
  • A genuine interest in and understanding of AI products.
  • A track record of running your own side hustle, community, meme page or creator brand.
  • Experience working remotely with a founder-led international team.

How to Apply?

This is a rare chance to join a small, elite team at the cutting edge of AI, work directly with a founder who has built major successes before, and share meaningfully in what gets built through equity from the outset. The products are exceptional. The right person will know exactly how to get them in front of the world.

We are far more interested in what you have made than in your CV.

When you get in touch, show us the evidence: send us examples of viral posts or threads you have created, or the following you have built yourself, tell us which platforms, and explain how you made them travel.

Send your CV and examples to charne@skillzpage.com, and tell us about something you have made go viral and how you did it.

(If you don’t hear from us within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.)

 Benefits:

Hybrid Work Model

About the Company

Founded in 2007 and grown from a two-person start-up into one of South Africa's leading marketing data and lead generation businesses, this organisation helps consumer-facing brands find, reach and convert new customers. Working across sectors such as insurance, financial services, telecommunications and value-added services, it delivers qualified, compliant sales leads to clients across South Africa, the wider African continent and international markets.

The business sits at the intersection of marketing, data and technology, running omni-channel campaigns and managing large volumes of consumer data through its own systems and platforms. Over the years it has generated tens of millions of customer leads for some of the most recognisable consumer brands in the region.

It is a commercially driven, fast-paced environment where client relationships and data performance sit at the heart of everything. For the right person, this role offers the chance to own meaningful client relationships and play a direct part in the continued growth of a well-established and respected player in the lead generation space.

Job Overview

The Senior Customer Success Manager is the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients and affiliate partners, responsible for growing account value, managing relationships and overseeing the delivery of lead generation campaigns from end to end. Reporting to the Managing Executive: Client Services, the role holds accountability for gross profit delivery across the portfolio and sits at the centre of the coordination between clients, sales, operations and technical teams.

This is a hybrid role that will suit someone equally comfortable holding a strategic, commercially focused conversation with a client and getting into the operational detail of how a campaign is configured and how its data is performing. The successful candidate will manage a focused portfolio of key accounts, including clients across Africa, with a strong emphasis on business and relationship continuity.

It is a role with genuine ownership and visibility, well suited to an account manager who thinks commercially, enjoys solving problems across functions and takes pride in keeping clients, campaigns and data performing at their best.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client and Portfolio Management

  • Act as the primary account manager for a portfolio of clients and affiliate partners, building trust-based relationships and actively growing account value.
  • Hold at least one meaningful strategic engagement with each client every month, focused on their goals and gross profit performance rather than routine reporting.
  • Maintain a monthly success plan for top-tier accounts, mapping growth opportunities, risks and gross profit trajectory.
  • Identify each key account's economic buyer and secure a quarterly Executive Business Review to discuss high-level strategy and account growth.
  • Act as the link between clients, sales, operations and technical teams to keep campaigns running smoothly.

Data, Systems and Campaign Delivery

  • Manage the full data lifecycle across client campaigns, including intake, processing, quality assurance and reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance and timely delivery across all systems and stakeholders.
  • Oversee CRM and Lead Management System usage and updates, keeping the tools optimised for performance.
  • Lead system integrations, testing and template development, including SFTP and automated feeds.
  • Take ownership of campaign setup, configuration and reporting across platforms.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all activity complies with data protection, Do Not Call and complaints-handling regulations.
  • Act as the internal champion for legal and compliance best practice in lead generation.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively recommend improvements that increase client return on investment.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Manage and distribute campaign performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Own the creation and distribution of reporting dashboards, ensuring accuracy, relevance and timeliness.
  • Interpret data insights to drive continuous performance improvement.

Financial and Commercial Ownership

  • Collaborate with finance on client and publisher invoicing and billing.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting and financial performance tracking across accounts.
  • Hold accountability for delivery against gross profit targets across the portfolio.

Project, Process and Training

  • Lead new project implementation, including client onboarding and internal setup.
  • Track project milestones, timelines and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate and deliver training to internal teams and external partners, and develop supporting documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in customer success, account management or operations, ideally within lead generation, digital marketing or SaaS.
  • Proven experience managing global or multi-region clients or partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to own and deliver against gross profit targets across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage from operational teams through to executive decision-makers and each account's economic buyer.
  • Comfortable working across CRMs, lead management systems, SFTP tools, data systems and integration platforms.
  • Analytical, using data to drive decisions and uncover opportunities for optimisation.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • A full ownership mindset, taking accountability for both client outcomes and internal delivery.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field, though strong relevant experience and the right attitude carry equal weight.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as POPIA, TCPA or GDPR.
  • Prior exposure to lead generation, affiliate or performance marketing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with lead management or lead distribution platforms.

Personal Attributes

  • Accountable, taking full ownership of client outcomes and internal execution.
  • A clear, proactive communicator who builds trust quickly across all levels.
  • Commercially minded, always looking to grow account value.
  • Analytical and comfortable making data-led decisions.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
  • Consultative and relationship-led in the way they work with clients.

How to Apply?

This is a chance to take ownership of a portfolio of established client relationships in a fast-moving lead generation environment, where your commercial instincts and attention to detail directly shape client success and account growth.

If you enjoy being the trusted point of contact who keeps clients, data and campaigns working in harmony, this role offers real scope to make an impact.

 Industry: iGaming / Gaming Technology
Level: Senior Technical Compliance Officer (4 to 7 years +)
 Salary

Market related increase

 Benefits:

Hybrid working model/ Pension / Annual Performance Bonus

About the Company

Our client is a well-established international gaming technology and content provider that’s been operational for two decades, supplying licensed betting and casino operators across a wide range of regulated markets. Their products are independently tested and certified to international standards, and their reputation rests on the integrity, fairness and technical quality of everything they put into the market.

Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the business sits at the point where technology, product and regulation meet. As they continue to expand into newly licensed markets, technical compliance has become central to how quickly and safely they can launch, which makes this a genuinely strategic function rather than a back-office one.

The environment is collaborative and standards-led, with a strong emphasis on integrity, clarity and ownership. You would join a team that treats compliance as a driver of growth, with real visibility across product, engineering, legal, and the external regulators and test laboratories that govern the industry.

Job Overview

The Technical Compliance Officer (TCO) is responsible for ensuring that the organisation's gaming platforms, products, integrations, content, and technical operations comply with all applicable regulatory, technical, security, and certification requirements across the jurisdictions in which the company operates or seeks licensing. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity, security, fairness, and regulatory compliance of the organisation's gaming ecosystem.

The TCO oversees adherence to relevant Remote Gaming Technical Standards, Random Number Generator (RNG) certification frameworks, game fairness and payout requirements, information security controls, systems integrity and availability standards, as well as interoperability and regulatory reporting obligations. The role further ensures that platform certification processes for B2B, B2C, and aggregated content solutions are effectively managed and maintained.

Acting as the primary liaison between Compliance, Product, Development, Quality Assurance, and external regulatory bodies and testing laboratories, the TCO ensures that technical compliance obligations are clearly understood, appropriately implemented, rigorously tested, adequately evidenced, and sustainably maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Through proactive governance and oversight, the TCO supports the organisation's commitment to regulatory excellence, operational resilience, and responsible gaming practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Regulatory Analysis and Interpretation

  • Monitor and interpret technical regulations, standards, directives, testing protocols and certification frameworks across all active and target jurisdictions.
  • Translate highly technical requirements into clear internal obligations covering controls, processes and engineering tasks.
  • Maintain a structured register of jurisdictional technical requirements (RNG entropy, logging standards, game fairness, RGS requirements, monitoring obligations and availability).
  • Identify conflicts between jurisdictions and propose harmonised solutions where possible.

Certification and Test Laboratory Engagement

  • Coordinate all technical certifications with recognised test laboratories, end to end.
  • Prepare and deliver the documentation, artefacts, evidence and configurations required for lab submissions.
  • Maintain accurate test lab scoping documentation, including game maths, RNG descriptions, platform architecture, communication protocols and logging schemas.
  • Manage certification timelines, identify product updates requiring recertification early, and keep certificates valid and up to date.

Technical Compliance Governance

  • Develop internal technical compliance standards based on regulatory obligations (logging, encryption, session management, data retention, monitoring and game fairness).
  • Embed a compliance-by-design framework into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Create and update compliance checklists for new features, games, content integrations and platform changes.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are baselined into product and engineering roadmaps.

Technical Risk and Change Control

  • Conduct technical risk assessments for new jurisdictions, products, content providers and integrations.
  • Identify compliance gaps in architecture, infrastructure, security or implementation, recommend corrective action, and track remediation through to closure.
  • Review and approve change requests for regulated systems, ensuring changes are compliant before deployment.
  • Flag releases requiring regulatory notification or recertification early, and validate test results, regression outcomes and rollback procedures.

Audit, Assurance and Incident Oversight

  • Prepare for and support external audits, including regulator audits, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and jurisdiction-specific technical audits.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, including system diagrams, logs, test results and operating procedures, and run periodic internal audits of technical compliance controls.
  • Oversee the regulatory aspects of incidents affecting regulated systems, ensuring regulator notifications occur within mandated timeframes and that root cause analysis and corrective actions are properly recorded.

Stakeholder Liaison and Subject-Matter Support

  • Act as the primary interface between Technical, Legal and Compliance, QA, Product, DevOps, Security, and external regulators and test labs.
  • Provide guidance during product design and architectural change, and ensure QA test plans incorporate technical compliance test cases.
  • Support product teams in early-phase scoping to avoid later regulatory non-compliance, and provide structured updates to executives and relevant teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years' experience in iGaming, fintech, regulated technology or security compliance.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with GLI standards (GLI-11, GLI-13, GLI-19 and GLI-33) or equivalent technical gaming standards.
  • Experience interacting directly with test laboratories, regulators or certification authorities.
  • Experience across online gaming platforms and their components, including RGS, wallet systems, game clients, RNGs and integrations.

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience managing compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • A relevant degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field) and / or a professional compliance certification such as CAMS, ICA or ACAMS.
  • Exposure to AML and financial-crime compliance alongside technical gaming certification.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing, logging and monitoring standards in a regulated environment.

Personal Attributes

The ideal person is:

  • An excellent communicator, both written and spoken, able to explain technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Honest, with high personal integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, comfortable owning a problem through to closure.
  • Highly organised and process-driven, with strong attention to detail.
  • A clear analytical thinker, able to turn complexity into structured, workable plans.
  • Interpersonally effective, able to build trust across technical, legal and external stakeholders.

How to Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to own technical compliance end to end within a licensed, multi-jurisdictional gaming environment, where your work directly safeguards the integrity, fairness and regulatory standing of products used by players around the world.

If you know the certification world from the inside and want a role with genuine ownership and visibility, we would like to hear from you.
