We’re looking for a skilled C# Software Developer with 4–5 years’ experience to join a dynamic team delivering Managed IT Services and Software Development to a diverse corporate client base. This is a rare opportunity for someone with strong technical foundations to be mentored directly by the current Software Lead, with the goal of stepping into a Team Lead role over time.

You’ll be guided through our systems, development environment, and leadership culture, gaining exposure to complex projects while being set up for long-term success.

Duties and Responsibilities

Backend Development Focus:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining robust C# .NET applications with a focus on scalability.
  • Writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database performance for MS SQL Server.
  • Building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party solutions as required.

Client-Facing Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with clients to gather technical requirements, implement system modifications, and provide updates.
  • Presenting and demonstrating system changes to stakeholders.

Project Collaboration & Agile Workflows:

  • Working in a 10-person development team that thrives on knowledge-sharing and best practices.
  • Participating in Agile sprints, contributing to feature planning and development cycles.
  • Supporting major releases by collaborating on frontend modifications when required.

System Enhancements & Innovation:

  • Improving platform performance, troubleshooting bugs, and enhancing existing applications.
  • Collaborating with our Integration Team to optimize data pipelines between service providers and head office systems.
  • Encouraging creative problem-solving and introducing new technologies to improve workflows.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in C# .NET development (backend-heavy role).
  • Strong MS SQL skills (database design, query optimization).
  • Experience working in Agile teams with code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A problem-solver with initiative – someone who enjoys technical challenges and finding creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills – capable of engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and presenting solutions.

  • C# .NET (Core, Framework)
  • MS SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Index Optimization)
